End of an era Fancy a cigarette? Well, I never smoked, but I could with you Any chance you are missing your plane? I could bear if you stay for a day or two, I'd be happy if you do It's the end of an era for me And to the ones I hold dearer I'll say I'll find a road, forget it, go back To where it started That's where I am I guess it's easier to accept, now that I have nothing So many beds I slept in, without you breathing in Was it London to change me, was it age? Was it the love for art to make me lose it all? It's the end of an era for me And to the ones I hold dearer I'll say I'll find a road, forget it, go back To where it started That's where I am

The Shower Song Water is not at the right temperature Wait here Take off my bathrobe and hung it up Look at my image reflected in the mirror Naked I don't want people to see Step in the shower carefully Never Liked the first contact with water Ten years of swimming and still take ten minutes to Immerse my body when I am at sea Should I go on with the shower gel? Should I try to relax and then wait? Is this a huge waste of time or is this the best moment of the whole day? When somebody knocks at the door I fall back to earth and remember you're gone Warm water confuse my eyes If night is for nightmares I'll dream in the shower Vapour in the room I can barely see, am I falling asleep? What is the shape I've just drawn on the wall Am I repressing my loneliness, I miss the Contact with other human bodies When was the last time that you've seen me naked? Why am I so ashamed of my body? Rubbing shampoo on my whole hair Trying to scrape away thoughts from my head (my own head) Is this a huge waste of time or is this the best moment of the whole day? (of the whole day) When somebody knocks at the door I fall back to earth and remember you're gone (that you have gone) Warm water confuse my eyes If night is for nightmares I'll dream in the shower I finally put on conditioner Why is this so hard to brush my own hair? (my own hair) Is this a huge waste of time or is this the best moment of the whole day? (of the whole day) When somebody shouts at the door I fall back to earth and remember you're gone (that you have gone) Warm water confuse my eyes If living is nightmare I'll dream in the shower

Atone 03:48
Atone I can't pretend I am uplifting I'm lying, I'm sinking Stuck into quicksand I can't deny what I was born with I suffer a slavery Sin of my own hands I've got the eyes of my mother The body of my father And their broken hearts So let's mess up one another Let's fall for each other 'Til we fall apart For all my life I have been looking for some money And I steal if there's no other way to gain So I can breathe This is what happened to me I can't atone what I was born with I suffer a slavery, Sin of my parents' hands I've got the masks of my mother The lies of my father And their broken hearts For all my life I have been looking for some money And I steal if there's no other way to gain So I can breathe This is what happened to me I am so envious I have embodied my own failure Predestination, no atonement, no one is self made This is what happened to me

It's Never Farewell It's never farewell It's never the end It's never farewell Its never the end But I lost a friend Yeah I lost a friend Yeah I lost a friend It's never farewell Now that all is meant to be Can you tell how happy I could be to be Free from distress Free from the end Free from distress Free from the end It's never the end (it's the end) It's never farewell (I'll be leaving) It's never the end (it's the end) If I lose my friends (all is meant to be) If I lose my friends (all is meant to be) If I lose my friends (all is meant to be) If I lose my friends (how happy i would be) Now that all is meant to be Can you tell how happy I could be to be Free from distress Free from the end Free from distress Free from the end Free from distress Free from the end Free from distress Free from the end Free from farewell Free from farewell Free from farewell Free from the end.

about

"End of an Era is a collection of songs that for different reasons were not featured in Jeunesse. The mix is very heterogeneous, but I believe all the songs express the same feelings."

A look at the end of things, both as a threat and an opportunity. The spectrum of emotions in this EP is wide despite it being very short.
The music is dynamic both in range and style, shifting from sample based beats to lush piano ballads, going through powerful electric guitars. Electronic sounds become more prominent in comparison to Jeunesse Secrète, with synth bass sounds that entirely replace electric bass. The arrangements are sophisticated, with a big amount of details that keep the production interesting even after many times listening.
While it is difficult to label the album into a specific genre, almost any taste can find fulfillment, and the sense of melancholia, joy and fear of loss is present throughout the whole EP.
